WELCOME to GOD BLESS the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC ! my awareness of
the Dominican republic began with a trip in 1990 to visit the parents of a
college friend of mine who were missionaries in the Dominican at the time. It was only a ten day trip so we only had so much time to see
everything and maybe we ended up doing too many touristy things, but they also did introduce us to the people in the mission field they
were working in...and we attended a church that the missionary preached at (in Spanish)..and we saw plenty of poverty..but maybe that's
why they also tried to show us some of the less poor aspects of the country..and ever since that trip I have always kept the people
of the Dominican in my thoughts and prayers and decided to add this blog as
well..updated with news about the
Dominican periodically...God bless the Dominican..in our prayers forever!
